Communications Consultant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in shaping and conveying our corporate message both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with the ability to engage diverse audiences and promote our brand effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the company’s activities, products, and services.
  • Respond to media inquiries and maintain relationships with journalists and other members of the press.
  • Manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, ensuring active and engaging communication streams.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results on a regular basis.
  • Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness, including press conferences, open days, exhibition shows, and other public events.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of uniform corporate communications and branding standards across all channels.
  • Provide communications support to internal teams, including crisis communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Communications Officer or similar role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing media relations (online, broadcast, and print).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to work independently.
